Kateryna Kostiuk was born in Kyiv and began her musical education at the age of five, studying violin. She continued her studies at the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln after previous education in Kyiv, earning her Bachelor's degree there and later completing two Master's programs: one in orchestral performance at the Orchesterzentrum Dortmund and another in solo performance in Cologne.
During her studies, Kateryna Kostiuk won several international competitions. Since 2013, she has been actively involved in various youth orchestras, including serving as concertmaster of the International Youth Orchestra Academy in Germany. Her passion for chamber music led to the formation of the Trio Sérénade in 2015, with which she has actively performed since. The trio was awarded a scholarship from the Werner Richard - Dr. Carl Dörken Foundation in 2019.
Kateryna Kostiuk gained valuable orchestral experience with the Bochum Symphony Orchestra, Wuppertal Symphony Orchestra, Göttingen Symphony Orchestra, and other prestigious ensembles. Since 2022, she has been a permanent violinist (first violin) with the Niederrheinische Sinfoniker.
With her extensive background in solo, orchestral, and chamber music, Kateryna Kostiuk continues to captivate audiences at every performance.
