Lilia Nikitchuk

mezzo-soprano

Ukrainian mezzo-soprano. Her repertoire is very diverse, ranging from Baroque to contemporary music.
She was born in Lutsk, Ukraine. From a young age, she began studying and practicing music and participated in numerous music groups. She completed music school as a violinist and attended the Pedagogical University in Lutsk, majoring in "Music Teacher," which she graduated from with honors. During her studies, she worked as a choir conductor and played the piano.
She is a laureate of various Ukrainian and international youth competitions and festivals.
Continuing her music education at the Lviv National Music Academy in the vocal department (Prof. L. Bozhko). In 2011, she completed her studies, earning a master's degree and a diploma with honors. She was a laureate of the International Competition "21st Century Art" in Vorzel in 2011.
She further developed her professional singing talent in Italy. She participated in the Rossini Opera Academy 2016 (Prof. A. Zedda) and attended numerous master classes with K. Kaludov, N. Shikoff, D. Vdovin, D. Zola, B. Hurley, S. Schwarz, G. Zappa, and P. Curran.
Since 2011, she has been involved in many projects with the Lviv National Philharmonic, including Beethoven's 9th Symphony, Handel's Messiah, Mozart's Credo Mass, Mozart's Requiem, Zelenka's Mass, Bach's Cantata, R. Schuman's oratorio, Pergolesi's Stabat Mater, Pergolesi's Salve Regina, Schönberg's Pierrot Lunaire, Kilar's Te Deum, vocal cycles by Mahler, Silvestrov, Beethoven, and more.
Since 2017, she has been working as a collaborator and, from 2020, as a soloist at the National Opera (Lviv). Her roles include Donna Elvira in Mozart's Don Giovanni, Flora in Verdi's La Traviata, Fenena in Verdi's Nabucco, Rosina in Rossini's Il barbiere di Siviglia, Angelina in Rossini's La Cenerentola, Amneris in Verdi's Aida, and others.
From 2020 to 2022, she collaborated with pianist accompanists at the Lviv National Music Academy.
In collaboration with various art agencies, she has undertaken tours in Poland, France, Spain, Germany, Austria, Italy, Belgium, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland, and Switzerland.
Debuting in the leading role of Angelina (Cenerentola, Rossini) at the Music Festival in Lancut (Rzeszów, 2023).
